Edward R. Quigley Memorial Scholarship

DETAILS
The Edward R. Quigley Memorial Scholarship was established by Susan LaRocco, PhD MBA RN FNAP, ANAMASS member, in memory of her husband. The $5,000 scholarship can only be applied to tuition and fees.
This Scholarship is for men pursuing a 12–18-month second degree Accelerated Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing (ABSN). .Applicants must reside and/or plan to practice in Massachusetts;. Applicant must demonstrate a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale upon application AND Completion of 1st semester in ABSN program by May 30, 2025.

The Foundation for Nursing Advancement in Massachusetts Joyce L. Wolf Scholarship is for candidates pursuing a 12-18 month Accelerated Baccalaureate of Science degree in Nursing. The $5.000 scholarship can only be applied to tuition and fees.

You must reside in Massachusetts and plan to attend a MA state-approved school of nursing, and must demonstrate a minimum of a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale upon application.

The Foundation for Nursing Advancement in Massachusetts Scholarship supports underrepresented students who are socially and economically disadvantaged and achieved outstanding academic success, as well as demonstrated involvement in their community or the workplace.
Those eligible to apply for the scholarships must have finished their secondary education (12th grade/HiSet); reside and/or practice in Massachusetts; be enrolled full-time or part-time in an LPN certificate, undergraduate or graduate program which must be accredited by NLN-AC or CCNE and approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing; not have been a recipient of an FNAMA Scholarship or ANAMASS Award in the previous two years.
The Brian M. French Advancing Nursing Science Grant

The Brian M. French, PhD, RN Advancing Nursing Science Grant (French Grant) is designed to support nurses pursuing careers as nurse scientists and nurse researchers for the purpose of advancing nursing science, developing nursing knowledge and improving outcomes for patients and families and/or nurses. One $1500 grant will be awarded annually to support a nurse's dissertation research study. FNAMA encourages applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences, in alignment with our commitment to equity and inclusion in nursing research..
RUTH LANG FITZGERALD memorial scholarship
Up to $1,000
DETAILS
This scholarship is to be given to a member of the American Nurses Association Massachusetts to pursue an area of interest or special project that will be beneficial to the member and/or the Association. The Scholarship may be used to attend an educational conference or some other educational activity. It may also be used for participation in a humanitarian aide project.
Sandra M. Reissour Memorial Scholarship for Nurses Practicing in Professional Development

Sandra Reissour was a founding member of the American Nurses Association Massachusetts, and also volunteered for many years with nurses in continuing education. This scholarship in the amount of up to $500.00 is to be given to a nurse that exemplifies dedication to nursing continuing education. The ideal candidate shows their dedication to and development of professional education in nursing.
